RIDE THE KEYS IN October, 2020

Florida Keys Self-Contained Tour

Card Sound Bridge - start of the Keys

Zero Mile Marker in Key West - end of the Ride

I take several self-supported bike tours/year in the Florida Keys, and invite a limited number of others to join me when I do. My next trip, COVID-19 permitting, is planned for October 23-30th.

My ride travels from Florida City to Key West and returns to Florida City. The total mileage is 274 miles. The trip will take 7 days which we'll complete in 37 and 50-mile increments: Florida City to Key Largo (37 miles), Key Largo to Marathon (48 miles), Marathon to Key West (52 miles), Key West to Marathon (52 miles), Marathon to Key Largo (48 miles), Key Largo to Florida City (37 miles), plus one day in Key West to explore the city. This is NOT a commercial bike ride. Also, it is not a race, but a casual bike tour to enjoy the Florida Keys. I stay in inexpensive (for the Keys!), but clean, motels, and I break up the ride by stopping for scenic photo "ops", historical and/or unique monuments, breakfasts and brunches at funky Keys' restaurants, etc. Men and women are invited to join me. Sorry, no children and no E-Bikes.
